Apartment Battery Rebate NSW

BESS3 is the NSW battery activity for apartment buildings. It commences 1 September 2026 and covers usable battery capacity above 20 kWh and up to 200 kWh.

What you need to know

Applies to apartment buildings classified as BCA Class 2
At least four individual dwellings required
Capacity above 20 kWh and up to 200 kWh
Approved equipment and accredited installers required
